Assessment – TurboCAD Deluxe 2016

                                                                                                    Assessor: Engineer Afsaneh Cooper

Candidate Reza is a Mechanical Engineer with ten years experience in Mechanical Engineering [Auditor]. His skill gap is in CAD. After the candidate was trained in sessions 1-2, he was assessed in session 3.
The assessment in session 3 does not include the following assessor’s instructions being given to the candidate:
  1. Confirming and addressing all organisational, ethical and legal requirements
  2. Explaining the assessment process step-by-step to the candidate
  3. Using effective communication and interpersonal skills when providing information to the candidate?
  4. Supporting and guiding the candidate throughout the assessment process?
  5. Applying reasonable adjustment
  6. Empowering the candidate throughout the assessment
  7. Providing clear and constructive feedback to the candidate?
  8. Making a fair judgment based on evidence provided or demonstrated?
  9. Recording assessment outcomes promptly and accurately in accordance with policies and procedures
  10. Maintaining confidentiality when providing the assessment feedback
  11. Obtaining feedback from the candidate about the process

The assessment in session 4 which includes above 11 instructions being given by the assessor to the candidate, is longer in time! This is because it is a quality assessment in round 2.
The total period of the Summitive assessment has not been recorded in both sessions 3 and 4. Only Start and End parts of each assessment is recorded. That is why there is 2 videos for each session.
